The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), which is a national level examination that is used to test the performance and understanding skill and capability of the students of GATE in their own graduate fields. Here, the examination can be helpful for admission purposes in the M.E/M-Tech and other NITs spread across India.
Here, the GATE Examination has been conducted jointly by the 7 IITs (Indian Institution of Technology) and IISc (Indian Institute of Science) which is done on the behalf of National Coordination Board – GATE. Other than that, the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and Government of India. The score which is scored in the GATE examination was important in order to recruit candidates in the government public or private organizations. The GATE scores are compulsory for private organizations.
